Section
1
Starting
Out
When the game loads up, you will see Sora standing by the Chocobo;
rush your way to the right.
NOTE:
If you jump and touch the Moogle, he will show you a small window.
These items are necessary for him to synth or exchange for the Raganork
(a huge powerful blade that can be used by pressing “Up +
D”, as shown in red on the small movelist where you downloaded
the demo). Getting the Raganork will also get the moogle to join
you.
Then simply
keep going right until you reach the end of the area, where the
moogle will speak to you. Notice the life bar in the corner. If
it drops to zero, you'll turn nearly invisible and you won't be
able to do anything except a regular jump, the lightning attack
(you'll get it soon) and throw corn. As the moogle tells you, eating
food will make your meter go up. Your meter is constantly but slowly
draining, so you'll need food (the tree by the moogle makes apples)
a lot.
Now go to the
next area where you find a farm, there you will see Tifa and Chrono.
After the little intro speech, Sora responds “…”
then you are able to move free again.
The
Raganork and the First Moogle
If you remember the Moogle showed you a window with 4 small icons
in it, indicating a FISH, SEA GULL, YELLOW EGG, and FROG.
You can get
these in any order, but it is best to stay and wait for the “SEA
GULL” (where you were when talking to Tifa). On the high ledge
above the pond you can easily spot the white bird. Jump to catch
it quick. From the same ledge you can see the FISH randomly come
out from the water in a random... make sure you are ready for it
to jump out of the pond. When you get any of these 2, you will see
a white exclamation mark above Sora’s head.
THE YELLOW EGG (Supposed to be a golden egg, LOL)
First, start by jumping on the second platform that has a box of
corn, then simply jump down to where the roosters are at and press
(Up + V) to feed them corn... this will make them feel adequate
enough to mate. Once the rooster has gained enough confidence to
mate with the Hen, she will lay eggs soon after. Keep your eye out
for the yellow egg... just be patient, she will lay one eventually.

Note From Ikaru
Since I programmed that part..I know the best way to get the yellow
egg in less than one minute...kick all the white roosters and brown
hens in the right corner, (not on top of the barn)than feed the
white roosters some corn, and keep making them touch each other
in the corner,,you will hear the rooster sing, and hen will lay
the eggs ( if you happen to see a rat kick it to the orgy) .
rats eat normal eggs, and thus makes more eggs come out, and the
problability raises really fast .
The FROG
You will spot the FROG near the right corner of the barn on the
floor... make sure to walk all the way to right than just use the
Dark Vortex (Down, Forward, Down + V). The Dark Vortex is powerful
enough to create a vacuum, and bring the frog into its force.
Once you have
all 4 items, run back to the Moogle jump on him to get your reward,
remember use it UP+ D. You'll need to use the high jump to reach
it, press down, then up and X. The moogle will also now follow you
around.
Helping
the Ants
In the first area there was an ant on the leaf, and on the ledge
of the farm area there was another ant. Head back to the starting
area and the ant will now be on the ground, and he will follow you.
Don't run too fast, or you'll lose him.
The goal is
to get this ant to the other ant. There is one area between the
ants. While leading the ant through here, a bird may come down and
attack the ant. If this happens, hit the bird with your stick to
free the ant and continue on.
Once the ants
are reunited, you will get a 'Sword +', which powers up your Raganork.
Getting
Your Chocobo
Head on past the farm area. As soon as you enter the new screen
your moogle will tell you to "Look Away". There will be
a lizard on the ground in front of you, which is what you're trying
to get right now. The lizard here will run whenver he sees you looking
at him. When he turns around get a little bit closer and turn back
around. When he looks away again jump up over and past him and then
run back and get him. Be warned, this strategy will not work every
time.
If he runs away,
chase him all the way to the rock in the far end of this area and
then run back to the farm area and reenter this area. The lizard
will be back.
Once you have
the lizard, you get another Sword + and you can get the chocobo.
Run back to the chocobo at the beggining and jump on him. You should
now be riding him. If you aren't, jump on him again.
Two
More Moogles
Go to the top of the barn, go right to the middle of it, and dig
with your chocobo. A dark moogle will appear and follow you.
Now head to
the area with the rock (and where there used to be a lizard) and
use your sword on the rock. If you got the Sword +'s, it should
break and free a moogle, who will now follow you.
Getting
to the Boss and Finding That Last Moogle
Take your chocobo and go back to the area where you get pushed back.
This time you should be going fast enough to get to the end, where
you find the dark energy source hit with your sword (you can use
the sword while on the chocobo, just press C) to destroy it. Now
you can continue to the boss.
But before that,
go back through this area and find the heartless. You'll have to
get off your chocobo to hit it, but one hit with the good old Ragnarok
will kill the heartless and then a final dark moogle will join you.
Boss
Fight: Bull
Make sure you're on your chocobo before continuing. In the next
area, a bull will try to ram you. Jump over it and run to the far
side for the easiest fight. Whenever the bull approaches jump. You
should land on the bull just as its turning around. Let yourself
fall off and then follow the bull and poke it with your sword a
few times, then go back to the far side and wait. I reccomend the
far side because the bull can only come at you from one direction,
and you can go to the previous area on accident if you're at the
other side.
If you need
more hp, dig for veggies. When the bull approaches jump on it and
dig on its back, you will get a piece of meat.
After poking
at the bull enough, it stops and a dark flower comes out of its
back. Get off your chocobo and then slash at it with a sword (its
hard to hit it while on a chocobo). When you kill it the remains
of it sink back into the bull. Jump back on your chocobo because
the bull will start charging again, only this time much faster.
Keep poking
it and the flower appears again. Kill it again and this time it
stays dead, and some heartless and meat appear. Kill the heartless
(its easy) and eat the meat. Congradulations, you've beaten the
boss!
A
Rainy Day
With the boss gone, you can go on to the next area, but hold off
on that for now. First head all the way back to the beginning area
for an extra scene. You'll see some old companions, and it will
start raining, but I'm not going to spoil anything.
The Finishing
Now that you've done everything, head on over to the area after
the bull. Jump down through the gap in the trees and hop off your
chocobo, since you won't need it anymore. There is a passageway,
go through it and you'll see a hoard of little flying things coming
out. Kill them with your sword and continue through to find a dark
energy thing that is creating the monster. Destroy it and had back
to your chocobo. Jump into the newly opened hole. You've now beaten
the demo! So sit back and watch the preview of episode one.

(a huge lighting bolt is created from the sky to eliminate anything
in his path)
Weapon Moves
Stick Swing
- Hold Up + C when you have the stick
(A powerful stick that is swung with precision, but careful not
to break the stick)
{I use to have a rooster, my friend Michael and I used to chase
it around and try to beat it with a similar stick. The rooster is
still alive }
Feed Animals
- Hold Up + V when you have the Corn box
(Corn bits are thrown to feed the Rooster, Rat, Pig, Hen)
Raganork Swing
- Hold Up + D when you have the Raganork.
(A huge powerful blade that can kill things and not just injure
them)
Chocobo Moves
Chocobo Jump - Press X
(A regular jump, except your on a Chocobo)
Raganork Poke
- Press C
(Pokes an enemy in front of you with the Raganork)
Dig - Press
V
(Your chocobo will dig. Can find vegetables, fish, meat, and even
a moogle depending on where you dig. Doesn't always work)
Dismount - Press
D
(Get off your Chocobo)
Hidden Moves
Dark Blaze [Level
1] – Press - Down, Right, Down, + C
(A dark energy fire sphere that blows up anything in its way)
{A classic Hadooken from the Street Fighter series, or DBZ}
Dark Vortex
[Level 1]- Press- Down, Right, Down + V
(A Vortex that compresses all matter in a split second)
{Zero from King of fighters 2000 uses this same move}
Dual Split Kick
– Press – V + Left
(A cancel to the Roundhouse, he turns around and kicks behind him)
Ground Hog Day
- Press Down while near a dead pig.
(Multiple punches to the pig to further the evil in your heart)
Pop Corn - Press
the Left button on you mouse near the Corn, make sure that the fire
part of the lightning touches the cornels.
(Pop Corn can be eaten to replenish health by one point)
Vortex + Explosion
- perform the "Dark Blaze" followed by the Dark Vortex
(This basically makes the Vortex have extra explosions)
Super Jump -
Press Down, Up, + X
(A very High Jump)
{The Marvel vs. Capcom game offers a similar jump for amazing aerial
combos}
