Time passes differently on Avalon. For every hour spent on Avalon, a day passes everywhere else. So it is very difficult to judge someone's age once they have lived on Avalon for any given period of time. Many of the Gargoyles have taken up residence here and they are now the guardians of Avalon. But in a different way than they have protected past lands.
